SMALL BEGINNINGS!

1. The Smallness of Our Efforts: It doesn’t matter how small what we have is or how tiny the steps we take toward a goal. Even the smallest effort or the quality of what we present doesn’t matter as much. What matters is doing it with God. When we act in faith, no matter how small, it carries significance.

2. God Has a Bigger Plan: 1 John 3:2 reminds us that what we are now is not the full picture. There’s a greater plan for us. Even when our efforts seem small and insignificant, they are part of God’s larger, unseen design.

3. Water to Wine – A Lesson in Obedience: At the wedding in Cana (John 2:1-11), the servants only had ordinary water to offer, but through simple obedience to Jesus’ instructions, this water turned into the best wine. This shows that even the most basic offering, when given with trust in God, can become something extraordinary.

4. The Feeding of the Five Thousand: In the story of the five loaves and two fish (John 6:1-14), a small offering seemed completely insufficient to feed a massive crowd. Yet, when placed in Jesus’ hands, it was multiplied and became more than enough. God doesn’t need much—He only needs our trust and offering, no matter how small it seems.

5. Faith as Small as a Mustard Seed: Jesus teaches that faith as small as a mustard seed (Matthew 17:20) can move mountains. It’s not the size of our faith that matters, but the power of the God we place our trust in. Small faith, when directed towards God, can bring about huge results.

6. God Uses What We Have: When Moses doubted his abilities, God asked him, “What is that in your hand?” (Exodus 4:2). With just a simple staff, Moses was able to perform miracles because God empowered it. Even what we think is ordinary or insignificant can become powerful when placed in God’s hands.

7. God Doesn’t Need Perfection or Grandeur: These stories show that God doesn’t require abundance, perfection, or grandeur. He asks for what we have, no matter how simple or small it may seem. When we offer it in faith, God works miracles with it.

8. The Power of Surrender: The key is to trust that even our smallest offerings—be it a prayer, an act of obedience, or a small gift—when surrendered to God, will be empowered and multiplied. What matters is not the size of what we offer, but the faith and heart behind it. With God, even the smallest things can fulfill His purpose.
